DESCRIPTION

DTC B2250 is stored when there is a malfunction in the closer pulse sensor circuit of the luggage compartment door lock assembly and when a normal waveform is not input for the closer pulse during power trunk lid operation.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

Note


  • Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.

  • When using the GTS with the power switch off to troubleshoot:

    Connect the GTS to the DLC3 and turn a courtesy light switch on and off at 1.5-seconds intervals until communication between the GTS and vehicle begins.

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (LUGGAGE CLOSER MOTOR ASSEMBLY - LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY)


    1. Disconnect the U33 luggage closer motor assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the a9 luggage compartment door lock assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      U33-16 (CSG) - a9-4 (CPSE) Always Below 1 Ω
      U33-17 (CS2) - a9-9 (CPS2) Always Below 1 Ω
      U33-18 (CS1) - a9-2 (CPS1) Always Below 1 Ω
      U33-19 (CSV) - a9-3 (CPS+) Always Below 1 Ω
      U33-16 (CSG) or a9-4 (CPSE) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      U33-17 (CS2) or a9-9 (CPS2) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      U33-18 (CS1) or a9-2 (CPS1) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      U33-19 (CSV) or a9-3 (CPS+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

  4. REPLACE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY


    1. Temporarily replace the luggage compartment door lock assembly with a new one Click here.
