DESCRIPTION
If the auto up/down function does not operate, the cause may be one or more of the following:
The ECU in the front power window regulator motor RH*1, LH*2 determines that the front power window regulator motor RH*1, LH*2 has not been initialized.
The front power window regulator switch has a malfunction.
The Hall IC in the front power window regulator motor RH*1, LH*2 has a malfunction.
There is an open or short in the wiring between the front power window regulator switch and front power window regulator motor RH*1, LH*2.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
Note
If the power window regulator motor assembly has been replaced with a new one, initialize the power window control system Click here.
If the power window regulator motor assembly and door window regulator sub-assembly have been removed and installed, or if the power window regulator motor assembly was reused when a door glass or door glass run was replaced, initialize the power window control system Click here.

Disconnect the Q9 front power window regulator switch assembly connector.
Disconnect the Q2 front power window regulator motor assembly RH connector.
Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
