POWER WINDOW CONTROL SYSTEM Driver Side Power Window Auto Up / Down Function does not Operate with Power Window Master Switch

DESCRIPTION

If the auto up/down function does not operate, the cause may be one or more of the following:

  • If the power window regulator motor assembly has been replaced with a new one, initialize the power window control system Click here.

  • If the power window regulator motor assembly and door window regulator sub-assembly have been removed and installed, or if the power window regulator motor assembly was reused when a door glass or door glass run was replaced, initialize the power window control system Click here.

PROCEDURE


  1. READ VALUE USING GTS (D DOOR P/W AUTO SW)


    1. Use the Data List to check if the multiplex network master switch is functioning properly Click here.

    2. Check that the front door power window LH*1, RH*2 moves when the auto up and down functions of the multiplex network master switch assembly are operated Click here.

  4. CHECK MULTIPLEX NETWORK MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY


    1. Temporarily replace the multiplex network master switch assembly with a new or normally functioning one Click here.

    2. Check that the front door power window LH*1, RH*2 moves when the auto up and down functions of the multiplex network master switch assembly are operated Click here.
