ROOF HEADLINING DISASSEMBLY

  • Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.

  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.


  1. REMOVE VANITY LIGHT ASSEMBLY

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for both vanity lights.


    1. Detach the 2 claws (A) and separate the bulb holder from the vanity light as shown in the illustration.

    2. Detach the claw (B) and remove the vanity light.

  2. REMOVE NO. 1 ROOF WIRE


    1. w/ Sliding Roof:


      1. Turn the visor connectors approximately 90° clockwise and remove them from the roof headlining.

      2. Detach the clamps.

      3. Remove each piece of tape and the No. 1 roof wire from the roof headlining.

      4. Remove the butyl tape remaining on the roof headlining.

        *1 Visor Connector - -

    2. w/o Sliding Roof:


      1. Turn the visor connectors approximately 90° clockwise and remove them from the roof headlining.

      2. Detach the clamps.

      3. Remove each piece of tape and the No. 1 roof wire from the roof headlining.

      4. Remove the butyl tape remaining on the roof headlining.

  3. REMOVE SPOT LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A01FVD9

      Remove the screw.

      A01FRJI Connector

    2. Detach the 2 claws and remove the spot light assembly LH.

    3. Disconnect the connector.

  4. REMOVE SPOT LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH
