  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.


  1. INSPECT VOLTAGE INVERTER ASSEMBLY

    (Voltage Inverter Assembly)

    1. With the connector of the vehicle wire harness connected, measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      1 (IG) - 4 (GND) Power switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V

      3 (AC1) - 7 (AC2)

      		 Power switch on (IG) and voltage inverter operating

      AC 108 to 132 V

      <*2>
      4 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

      Tech Tips


      • *1: When using a TOYOTA electrical tester, set the tester to the alternating current range, as an alternating current is output.

      • *2: When using a TOYOTA electrical tester, the standard range has been made larger, as the alternating current cannot be exactly measured.

      If the result is not as specified, replace the voltage inverter assembly.
