ROOM LIGHT (for Rear) INSPECTION


  1. INSPECT SPOT LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH

      Component without harness connected

      (Spot Light Assembly LH)

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      3 (B) - 1 (CTY) Spot light switch off Below 1 Ω
      Spot light switch on 10 kΩ or higher
      3 (B) - 2 (E) Spot light switch off 10 kΩ or higher
      Spot light switch on Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the spot light assembly LH.

    2. Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the connector and check the light illumination condition.

      OK
      Measurement Condition Specified Condition

      Auxiliary battery positive (+) → Terminal 3 (B)

      Auxiliary battery positive (-) → Terminal 2 (E)

      		 Spot light switch on the illuminates

      If the result is not as specified, replace the spot light assembly LH.

  2. INSPECT SPOT LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      3 (B) - 1 (CTY) Spot light switch off Below 1 Ω
      Spot light switch on 10 kΩ or higher
      3 (B) - 2 (E) Spot light switch off 10 kΩ or higher
      Spot light switch on Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the spot light assembly RH.

    2. Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the connector and check the light illumination condition.

      OK
      Measurement Condition Specified Condition

      Auxiliary battery positive (+) → Terminal 3 (B)

      Auxiliary battery positive (-) → Terminal 2 (E)

      		 Spot light switch on the illuminates

      If the result is not as specified, replace the spot light assembly RH.
