INSPECTION PROCEDURE

Note


  • Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.

  • Recognition code registration is necessary when replacing the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU).

  • If the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) is replaced, refer to the Service Bulletin.

PROCEDURE


  1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING GTS (INTERIOR PANEL RELAY)


    1. Using the GTS, perform the Active Test Click here.

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NO. 2 INTEGRATION RELAY - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)

      (to No. 2 Integration Relay)

      Disconnect the No. 2 integration relay connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      1G-1 (ALT) - Body ground Always 11 to 14 V
      1B-7 (BATT) - Body ground
      1B-8 (IG1A) - Body ground Power switch on (IG)
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      1B-10 (GNDB) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      1A-22 (GNDA) - Body ground

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NO. 2 INTEGRATION RELAY - MAIN BODY ECU)


    1. Disconnect the 1A No. 2 integration relay connector.

    2. Disconnect the N11 main body ECU connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      1A-14 (PNLS) - N11-5 (PANL) Always Below 1 Ω
      1A-14 (PNLS) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
