INSIDE HANDLE LIGHT (for Front Door) REMOVAL

Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.


  1. REMOVE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY WITH FRONT DOOR ARMREST BASE PANEL


    1. A01FTIQ

      Detach the 2 clips and 5 claws.

    2. Disconnect the connector and remove the power window regulator master switch assembly with front door armrest base panel.

  2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL PLUG LH


    1. A01FRRP

      Detach the 3 claws and remove the front door inside handle bezel plug.

  3. REMOVE FRONT DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A01FRGD

      Remove the 3 screws.

    2. Detach the 9 clips.

    3. A01FT5UE01

      Detach the reference boss in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration.

    4. Using a screwdriver, detach the 4 claws and remove the front door trim board.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

    5. Disconnect each connector.

      Disconnect the front door lock remote control cable and front door inside locking cable.

  4. REMOVE FRONT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE ILLUMINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A01FUP6

      Detach the claw and remove the front door inside handle illumination light assembly LH.

    2. Disconnect the connector.

  5. REMOVE FRONT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A01FTI1

      Remove the 15 screws and front door inside handle together with the front door trim ornament and No. 1 interior illumination light.

    2. A01FVWJ

      Remove the screw.

    3. Detach the claw and remove the front door inside handle.

  6. REMOVE NO. 1 INTERIOR ILLUMINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A01FUR8

      Detach the 3 claws and remove the No. 1 interior illumination light assembly LH from the front door trim ornament sub-assembly LH.
