INSPECTION PROCEDURE

Note

  • Before replacing the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) or main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU), refer to the Service Bulletin.

  • The engine immobiliser system uses the CAN communication system. Inspect the communication function by following How to Proceed with Troubleshooting Click here. Troubleshoot the engine immobiliser system after confirming that the communication systems are functioning properly.

PROCEDURE

  1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING GTS (SECURITY INDICATOR LIGHT)

    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Entry & Start / Active Test.

    5. Perform the Active Test according to the display on the GTS.
