DOOR CONTROL TRANSMITTER INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL TRANSMITTER BATTERY (for Standard, for Type A)


    1. A01FVMY

      Install a battery (lithium battery: CR2032) with the positive (+) side facing upward as shown in the illustration.

      Note


      • When replacing the transmitter battery, before starting work, remove static electricity that has built up in the body by touching, for example, the vehicle to prevent the electrical transmitter from being damaged.

      • Be sure that the positive (+) and negative (-) sides of the transmitter battery are matched correctly.

      • Do not to bend the electrodes while installing the battery.

      • Keep the interior of the transmitter case free of dust, water and oil.

    2. A01FSMP

      Install the transmitter housing cover by pressing down on it as shown in the illustration.

    3. A01FVEE

      Insert the mechanical key into the transmitter.

    4. Press one of the transmitter switches and check that the LED illuminates.

  2. INSTALL TRANSMITTER BATTERY (for Standard, for Type B)


    1. A01FT0F

      Install a battery (lithium battery: CR2032) with the positive (+) side facing upward as shown in the illustration.

    2. Attach the 2 claws to install the transmitter battery housing cover.

      Install the transmitter housing cover by pressing down on it as shown in the illustration.

    4. A01FQJL

      Insert the mechanical key into the transmitter.

    5. Press one of the transmitter switches and check that the LED illuminates.

  3. INSTALL TRANSMITTER (CARD KEY) BATTERY (for Card Type)


    1. A01FQ0J

      Push in and install the transmitter battery (lithium battery: CR2412) while being careful of the following: 1) the orientation of the battery positive (+) and negative (-) terminals; and 2) being sure to insert the battery between the 2 terminals and deep into the card in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration.

      Note


      • When replacing the transmitter battery, before starting work, remove static electricity that has built up in the body by touching, for example, the vehicle to prevent the electrical transmitter from being damaged.

      • Insert the battery so that its positive (+) side is facing the LEXUS mark.

      • Do not deform the terminals.

      • If the terminals are dirty, wipe the terminals with a soft cloth before installing the battery.

      Tech Tips

      Check if the card terminals are damaged or if the card interior has foreign matter.

    2. A01FQJX

      Install the battery cover so that it clips onto the case.

      Note


      • Push on the battery cover until its attachment hooks attach securely.

      • When the battery cover is removed and installed many times, be careful as the cover may become loose.
