AUXILIARY BATTERY REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT


    1. Remove the luggage compartment floor mat.

  2. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER LH


    1. Remove the luggage compartment trim cover LH.

  3. DISCONNECT BATTERY HOSE

      Disconnect the battery hose from the auxiliary battery.

  4. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the auxiliary battery terminal notice before proceeding with work Click here.

  5. REMOVE AUXILIARY BATTERY

      Disconnect the cable from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.

      Note

      When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

    2. Remove the 2 nuts and disconnect the fusible link block assembly.

    3. Open the battery terminal cover.

    4. Disconnect the cable from the positive (+) auxiliary battery terminal.

      Remove the 2 bolts, nut and battery clamp.

    6. Remove the auxiliary battery.
