NIGHT VIEW MAIN SWITCH INSPECTION


  1. INSPECT SATELLITE SWITCH SET (NIGHT VIEW MAIN SWITCH)

    Component without harness connected

    (Satellite Switch Set (Night View Main Switch))

    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      3 (NVM) - 4 (E) Night View Main Switch ON Below 2.5 Ω
      Night View Main Switch OFF 1 MΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, replace the satellite switch set (night view main switch).

    2. Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the switch connector and check that the indicator (LED) illuminates.

      OK
      Measurement Condition Specified Condition

      Auxiliary battery positive (+) → 1 (ILL+)

      Auxiliary battery negative (-) → 6 (ILL-)

      		 Indicator (LED) illuminates

      If the result is not as specified, replace the satellite switch set (night view main switch).
