DESCRIPTION

The blind spot monitor sensor receives the steering angle signal from the spiral with sensor cable sub-assembly (steering angle sensor) via CAN communication.

DTC Code DTC Detection Condition Trouble Area
C1A47 A fail flag is transmitted from the spiral with sensor cable sub-assembly (steering angle sensor).

  • Spiral with sensor cable sub-assembly

  • Blind spot monitor sensor RH

  • Blind spot monitor sensor LH

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

Note

When checking for DTCs, make sure that the blind spot monitor main switch (integration control and panel assembly) is on.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK DTC


    1. Clear the DTCs Click here.

    2. Recheck for DTCs and check if the same DTC is output again Click here.

      OK
      No DTCs are output.

    REPLACE SPIRAL WITH SENSOR CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY Click here

    USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK Click here

  2. REPLACE SPIRAL WITH SENSOR CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Replace the spiral with sensor cable sub-assembly Click here.
