DESCRIPTION

The blind spot monitor sensor receives vehicle speed signals from the skid control ECU asssembly via CAN communication.

C1A45 A fail flag is transmitted from the skid control ECU assembly.

  • Electronically controlled brake system

  • Blind spot monitor sensor RH

  • Blind spot monitor sensor LH

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

Note

When checking for DTCs, make sure that the blind spot monitor main switch (integration control and panel assembly) is on.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK OTHER DTC OUTPUT (VEHICLE STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM)


    1. Check for DTCs of the electronically controlled brake system Click here.

      OK
      Vehicle stability control system DTCs are not output.

    NG

    REPAIR CIRCUIT INDICATED BY OUTPUT CODE (for Vehicle Stability Control System) Click here

    OK

  2. CHECK DTC


    1. Clear the DTCs Click here.

    2. Recheck for DTCs and check if the same DTC is output again Click here.
