PARKING ASSIST MONITOR SYSTEM "Back Door is Open" is Displayed even after Back Door is Closed

DESCRIPTION

The multi-media module receiver assembly receives luggage compartment door open/close signals from the luggage closer motor assembly*1 or main body ECU [multiplex network body ECU]*2 via CAN communication. When the luggage compartment door is open, the camera aiming cannot be adjusted correctly because the rear television camera assembly is installed on the luggage compartment door. Therefore, when adjusting the camera aiming calibration while the back door is open, a luggage compartment door open warning message will be displayed on the screen and camera aiming adjustment will be canceled.

  • When "System initializing" is displayed on the accessory meter assembly (for 12.3 Inch) or multi-display (for 8 Inch) after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal, correct the steering angle neutral point Click here.
