DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when items controlled by the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) cannot be customized via the audio and visual system vehicle customization screen.

The certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) controls the entry and start system (for Entry Function) related items that are customizable via the multi-display screen.

  1. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM


    1. Use the GTS to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally.


      OK
      CAN communication DTCs are not output.

    1. Check if the entry and start system is malfunctioning Click here.

      Tech Tips

      Customization may not be possible depending on the malfunction in the entry and start system.

  3. CHECK CUSTOMIZE ITEMS


    1. Display the "Vehicle Customization" screen.

    2. Make a note of the customizable items for each certification ECU related system.

      Tech Tips

      These items shown as customizable via the accessory meter assembly*1 or multi-display*2 vehicle customization screen can also be changed using the GTS. In a following step, the GTS will be used.


      • *1: for 12.3 Inch

      • *2: for 8 Inch


      1. Check the customize parameters list for the entry and start system related items that can be customized via the multi-display screen Click here.

    3. Manually change and confirm that it was possible to successfully change the settings of the customize parameters for each system that are available for customization via the multi-display screen.
