DYNAMIC REAR STEERING ECU INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL REAR STEERING CONTROL ECU


    1. Connect the connector of the vehicle wire harness.

    2. Return the lock lever of each connector to its original position and attach the claw.

      Note

      Make sure the claw of the lock lever is securely attached.

    3. Install the steering control ECU with the 3 bolts.

      Torque:
      5.0 N*m  { 51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf }

    4. Connect the 2 connectors on the side closest to the rear steering link.

    5. Return the lock lever of each connector to its original position and attach the claw.

      Note

      Make sure the claw of the lock lever is securely attached.

  2. INSTALL ECU BRACKET


    1. A01FUJHE01

      Install the ECU bracket with the 4 bolts.

      Tech Tips

      Temporarily install bolt 1, tighten the bolts in numerical order staring from bolt 2, and then tighten bolt 1.

      Torque:
      8.5 N*m  { 87 kgf*cm, 75 in.*lbf }

  3. INSTALL SPARE WHEEL COVER TRAY ASSEMBLY

  4. CONNECT CABLE TO AUXILIARY BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  5. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER LH


    1. Install the luggage compartment trim cover.

  6. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT


    1. Remove the luggage compartment floor mat.

  7. PERFORM CALIBRATION
