When replacing the steering actuator assembly, perform actuator angle neutral position calibration and initialization after replacement Click here.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK FOR DTC (DYNAMIC REAR STEERING SYSTEM)


    1. Check for DTCs in the dynamic rear steering system Click here.

  2. CHECK FOR DTC

  3. CHECK STEERING WHEEL CENTER POSITION


    1. Check the neutral position of the steering wheel.

      Steering wheel is off-center B

  4. CHECK STEERING MISALIGNMENT


    1. Position the tires straight ahead.

    2. Turn the power switch off.

    3. Disconnect the steering actuator assembly connector.

    4. Turn the power switch on (READY), turn the steering wheel from lock to lock and check the left and right steering angle.

      OK
      No steering angle difference between left and right.

      When the vehicle is driven with the steering actuator assembly connector disconnected, DTC C15A5/65 is stored. After performing the inspection, clear DTCs Click here.
