DYNAMIC REAR STEERING SYSTEM, Diagnostic DTC:C1B04/14, C1B05/15

DTC Code DTC Name
C1B04/14 Motor Rotation Angle Sensor Calibration Undone
C1B05/15 Motor Rotation Angle Sensor Calibration Malfunction

DESCRIPTION

The DRS ECU (rear steering control ECU) stores DTC C1B04/14 when motor rotation angle sensor calibration has not been performed.

When the DRS ECU (rear steering control ECU) determines that the motor rotation angle sensor calibration is not complete, DTC C1B05/15 is stored.

DTC Code DTC Detection Condition Trouble Area
C1B04/14 Motor rotation angle sensor calibration has not been performed. Rear steering link assembly
C1B05/15 Resolver calibration was performed to compensate for differences in resolver hardware for the motor rotation angle sensor, but calibration did not complete successfully. Rear steering link assembly

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

Note

If the rear steering link assembly or the rear suspension is removed and installed, replaced, or adjusted, after performing actuator calibration value initialization, perform neutral position memorization and motor rotation angle sensor calibration Click here.

  5. RECONFIRM DTC

    1. Check for DTCs Click here.

      Result
      Result Proceed to
      DTC is not output. A
Even after performing neutral position memorization and motor rotation angle sensor calibration 3 times, DTC C1B04/14 or C1B05/15 is output. B

      Note

If DTC C1B04/14 or C1B05/15 is output after performing neutral position memorization and motor rotation angle sensor calibration, confirm that the procedures are being performed correctly and perform neutral position memorization and motor rotation angle sensor calibration again (the maximum amount of attempts to perform neutral position memorization and motor rotation angle sensor calibration is 3 times).
