DESCRIPTION

Based on the steering sensor signal, the power steering ECU assembly determines if the correct type of steering sensor is installed.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

Note

If the power steering ECU assembly is replaced with a new one, perform assist map writing, clear the motor rotation angle sensor calibration value, initialize the motor rotation angle sensor value and calibrate the torque sensor zero point Click here.

      Tech Tips

      When DTC C1567/44 is output when parts have not been exchanged, replace the power steering ECU assembly as it may have an internal malfunction.
