Use the following procedure to troubleshoot the air conditioning system.

INSPECT AUXILIARY BATTERY VOLTAGE
Inspect the auxiliary battery voltage.
| Standard voltage |
|---|
| 11 to 14 V |
If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the auxiliary battery before proceeding to the next step.
Using the GTS, inspect auxiliary battery voltage reduction history "Battery Control Count (Body ECU)" in the Data List Click here.

CHECK COMMUNICATION FUNCTION OF CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM*
Use the GTS to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally.

Check for DTCs and note any code that is output Click here.
Clear the DTCs Click here.
Recheck for DTCs. Based on the DTCs output above, try to force the air conditioning system to output DTCs by simulating the conditions indicated by the DTC.
