  1. INSPECT BENCH TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER

      Component without harness connected

      (Bench Type Rear Seatback Cover (Rear Seatback Heater))

      for LH Side:

      Check the seatback heater.


      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        A-1 - B-1(B) Always Below 1 Ω
        A-2 - B-4(SHDE)
        A-3 - B-2(AL)
        A-5 - B-3(GND)
        A-3 - A-5 Seatback heater temperature 17 to 23°C (63 to 73°F) 5.45 to 6.66 Ω
        A-3 - B-3(GND)
        A-5 - B-2(AL)
        B-2(AL) - B-3(GND)

        If the result is not as specified, replace the bench type rear seatback cover.

        A-3 - B-2(AR)
        A-5 - B-3(GND)
        A-3 - A-5 Seatback heater temperature 17 to 23°C (63 to 73°F) 5.45 to 6.66 Ω
        A-3 - B-3(GND)
        A-5 - B-2(AR)
        B-2(AR) - B-3(GND)

        If the result is not as specified, replace the bench type rear seatback cover.
