LUMBAR SUPPORT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY (for Sports Seat Type) REMOVAL

  • Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.

  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.

  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.


  1. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A01FTZM

      Using a clip remover, remove the clip and disconnect the rubber band.

    2. Detach the hook and disconnect the rubber band.

    3. Using a clip remover, remove the clip.

    4. A01FSUB

      Open the lower part of the front seatback board sub-assembly LH and remove the 2 screws.

    5. Push and slide the front seatback board subassembly LH to detach the claw.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure to detach the claw on the other side.

    6. Slide the front seatback board sub-assembly LH downward to detach the 2 hooks and remove it.

  3. REMOVE SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD (for Driver Side)

    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. A01FTP9

      Detach the hooks.

    3. A01FTAP

      Detach the wire harness clamp.

    4. A01FPY1

      Detach the 4 claws and remove the 2 front seat headrest supports.

    5. A01FVY8E01

      Detach the wire harness clamp.

    6. Remove the 2 nuts and detach the seatback cover bracket.

    7. Remove the seatback cover with pad.

  4. REMOVE SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD (for Front Passenger Side)

    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. A01FQQC

      Detach the hooks.

    3. A01FSWI

      Detach the 4 claws and remove the 2 front seat headrest supports.

    4. A01FQRSE01

      Detach the wire harness clamp.

    5. Remove the 2 nuts and detach the 2 seatback cover brackets.

    6. Remove the seatback cover with pad.

  5. REMOVE SEATBACK CLIMATE CONTROL BLOWER LH

    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. Detach the 2 claws and disconnect the rear air duct LH from the lumbar support adjuster assembly LH.

    3. Remove the 2 screws.

    4. Detach the hook and remove the seatback climate control blower LH together with the rear air duct LH.

  6. REMOVE LUMBAR SUPPORT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY LH (for Driver Side)


    1. A01FUNO

      Disconnect the 2 connectors.

    2. Detach the 2 cable clamps.

    3. A01FVJF

      Remove the 2 springs and detach the 2 clips.

    4. A01FUKD

      Remove the 2 bolts.

    5. Slide the lumbar support adjuster assembly LH upward to detach the 2 hooks and remove it.

  7. REMOVE LUMBAR SUPPORT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY RH (for Front Passenger Side)


    1. A01FQHX

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Remove the 2 springs and detach the 2 clips.

    3. A01FVOC

      Remove the 2 bolts.

    4. Slide the lumbar support adjuster assembly RH upward to detach the 2 hooks and remove it.
