DESCRIPTION

Output to the front right cushion cover temperature sensor stops if one of the following occurs: 1) the temperature sensor is open or shorted; or 2) the temperature sensor is damaged and its output value does not change.

  3. INSPECT SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER


    1. Remove the separate type front seat cushion cover.


    2. Inspect the separate type front seat cushion cover.

  4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY - SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER)


    1. Disconnect the N157 air conditioning amplifier assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the c22 separate type front seat cushion cover connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      N157-20 (TSR) - c22-1 (THR) Always Below 1 Ω
      N157-34 (SG-3) - c22-7 (PR) Always Below 1 Ω
      N157-20 (TSR) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      N157-34 (SG-3) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
