DESCRIPTION

The skid control ECU assembly receives steering rotation angle information from the spiral with sensor cable sub-assembly, and sends the information to the driving support ECU through the CAN communication line.

When DTC C1A47 is detected, DTC C1231 is also output from the "ABS/VSC/TRC".

DTC Code DTC Detection Condition Trouble Area
C1A47 While the vehicle speed is 50 km/h (31 mph) or more, a steering angle sensor malfunction signal is received from the skid control ECU assembly for 2 seconds or more.

  1. CHECK FOR DTC (ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED BRAKE SYSTEM)


    1. Clear the DTCs Click here.

    2. Check for DTCs Click here.

      OK
      DTCs C1231 are not output.

    NG

    GO TO ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED BRAKE SYSTEM Click here

    OK

  2. CHECK FOR DTC (PRE-CRASH SAFETY SYSTEM)


    1. Clear the DTCs Click here.

    2. Check for DTCs Click here.

      OK
      DTC C1A47 is not output.

      Note

      When replacing the driving support ECU, always replace it with a new one and be sure to perform initialization Click here. If an ECU which was installed to another vehicle is used, the information stored in the ECU will not match the information from the vehicle, and as a result, a DTC may be stored.
