PRE-CRASH SAFETY SYSTEM DTC CHECK / CLEAR


  1. CHECK DTC


    1. Turn the power switch off.

    2. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    3. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Pre-Crash 1 / Trouble Code.

    5. Check for DTCs.

    6. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Pre-Crash 2 / Trouble Code.

    7. Check for DTC.

      Tech Tips

      As the driving support ECU and seat belt control ECU output DTCs for the pre-crash safety system, be sure to check the DTCs in Pre-Crash 1 and Pre-Crash 2.

  2. CLEAR DTC


    1. Turn the power switch off.

    2. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    3. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Pre-Crash 1 / Trouble Code.

    5. Select "Clear", and clear the data.

    6. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Pre-Crash 2 / Trouble Code.

    7. Select "Clear", and clear the data.

      Tech Tips

      As the driving support ECU and seat belt control ECU output DTCs for the pre-crash safety system, be sure to check the DTCs in Pre-Crash 1 and Pre-Crash 2.
