INSTALL FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR ASSEMBLY

Apply a light coat of gasoline to 2 new O-rings, and install them to the fuel pressure regulator assembly.

Install the fuel pressure regulator assembly to the fuel filter assembly.

Note

When installing the O-rings, make sure they do not become pinched or cut.
The fuel pressure regulator assembly, fuel main valve assembly and fuel main valve assembly (return) each have identification marks. Make sure to install the parts to the correct locations as not doing so may cause the engine to stall.

INSTALL FUEL MAIN VALVE ASSEMBLY

Apply a light coat of gasoline to 4 new O-rings and install them to 2 the fuel main valve assemblies.
Install the 2 fuel main valve assemblies to the fuel filter assembly.

Attach the 4 claws and install the 2 No. 2 fuel suction supports to the fuel filter assembly.

Note

When installing the O-ring, make sure that it does not become pinched or cut.
Securely attach the claws.
The fuel pressure regulator assembly, fuel main valve assembly and fuel main valve assembly (return) each have identification marks. Make sure to install the parts to the correct locations as not doing so may cause the engine to stall.

INSTALL FUEL WITH FILTER PUMP ASSEMBLY

  *1 Fuel Pump Spacer
  
  *2 O-Ring
  
  Install the fuel pump spacer to the fuel pump.
2. Apply a light coat of gasoline to a new O-ring, and then install the O-ring to the fuel pump.
3. Attach the 5 claws of the fuel filter to install the fuel pump.
  Note
  - When installing the O-ring, make sure that it does not become pinched or cut.
  - Securely attach the claws.
INSTALL NO. 1 FUEL SUCTION SUPPORT
1. Install the No. 1 fuel suction support to the fuel with filter pump assembly.
INSTALL FUEL PUMP HARNESS
1. Install the fuel pump connector to the fuel with filter pump assembly.
INSTALL JET PUMP
1. Apply a light coat of gasoline to a new O-ring and install the O-ring to the jet pump.
2. Install the jet pump to the No. 1 fuel sub-tank as shown in the illustration.
  
  Note
  
  When installing the O-ring, make sure that it does not become pinched or cut.
3. Install the jet pump to the No. 1 fuel sub-tank.
  
  Note
  
  Securely attach the claws.
INSTALL FUEL FILTER ASSEMBLY
1. Attach the 2 claws to install the fuel filter assembly to the No. 1 fuel sub-tank.
INSTALL FUEL SUCTION PLATE SUB-ASSEMBLY
1. Install the spring to the fuel suction plate shaft.
2. Install the fuel suction plate sub-assembly to the No. 1 fuel sub-tank.
3. Install a new E-ring.
4. Connect the fuel pump harness connector to the fuel suction plate sub-assembly.
  
  Note
  
  Make sure that the claw of the fuel pump connector is attached securely.
5. Connect the fuel pump harness to the clamp as shown in the illustration.
  Note
  
  Attach A first and then B when connecting the fuel pump harness to the clamp.
  
  Do not twist or excessively pull the fuel pump harness.
INSTALL FUEL SENDER GAUGE ASSEMBLY
1. Slide the fuel sender gauge assembly downwards and attach the claw labeled A to install the fuel sender gauge assembly.
2. Connect the fuel sender gauge connector.
  
  Note
  
  Do not touch the resistance plate or contacts of the fuel sender gauge assembly.
