INSPECT TOE CONTROL LINK SUB-ASSEMBLY
Inspect the turning torque of the ball joint.
Secure the toe control link in a vise using aluminum plates.
Temporarily install the nut, and then flip the ball joint stud back and forth 5 times as shown in the illustration.
Use a torque wrench to turn the nut continuously at a rate of 3 to 5 seconds per turn. Take a torque reading on the 5th turn.

Turn the stud.

| There is no abnormal sticking or rattling while turning the stud. |
If the result is not as specified, replace the rear suspension toe control link sub-assembly LH with a new one.
Inspect the dust cover.
Check that the dust cover is not cracked and that there is no grease on it.
