SHIFT PADDLE SWITCH REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE STEERING PAD SWITCH ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE STEERING WHEEL ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the steering wheel set nut.

    2. Place matchmarks on the steering wheel and main shaft.

      Using SST, remove the steering wheel assembly.

  3. REMOVE LOWER NO. 1 STEERING WHEEL BOSS COVER


    1. A01FVPL

      Remove the 2 screws and 2 lower No. 1 steering wheel boss covers from the steering wheel assembly.

  4. REMOVE TRANSMISSION SHIFT SWITCH ASSEMBLY


    1. A01FQ97

      Disconnect the connector and detach the 4 guides from the steering wheel assembly.

    2. A01FRH1

      Remove the 2 screws and 2 transmission shift switch assemblies with switch wire from the steering wheel assembly.

    3. Disconnect the 2 No. 1 switch wire connectors and remove the 2 transmission shift switch assemblies from the No. 1 switch wire.
