DESCRIPTION

The driving support ECU sends a sounding signal to the skid control ECU assembly to sound the skid control buzzer.

C1A4A While power switch is on (IG), skid control buzzer circuit malfunction signal is received by skid control ECU assembly for 3 seconds.

When replacing the skid control ECU assembly, perform zero point calibration and store system information Click here.

PROCEDURE


  1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING GTS (BUZZER)


    1. Select the Active Test on the GTS Click here.

      ABS/VSC/TRC
      Tester Display Test Part Control Range Diagnostic Note
      Buzzer Skid control buzzer ON/OFF The buzzer can be heard.
      OK
      Skid control buzzer sounds.

    GO TO ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED BRAKE SYSTEM Click here

    OK

  2. REPLACE SKID CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY


    1. Replace the skid control ECU assembly with a new one Click here.


    NEXT

  3. CHECK DTC


    1. Clear the DTCs Click here.

    2. Check for DTCs Click here.

      OK
      DTC C1A4A is not output.

      Note

      When replacing the driving support ECU, always replace it with a new one and be sure to perform initialization Click here. If an ECU which was installed to another vehicle is used, the information stored in the ECU will not match the information from the vehicle, and as a result, a DTC may be stored.
