DESCRIPTION
The driving support ECU receives vehicle speed signals from the skid control ECU assembly via the CAN communication line to control the lane-keeping assist system. When the driving support ECU receives information that there is a malfunction in the vehicle speed sensor, DTC C1A45 is stored.

If the detection conditions are not met, the system cannot detect the malfunction.
Drive the vehicle at a 50 km/h (31 mph) or more, and operate lane-keeping assist system.

Note
When replacing the driving support ECU, always replace it with a new one and be sure to perform initialization Click here. If an ECU which was installed to another vehicle is used, the information stored in the ECU will not match the information from the vehicle, and as a result, a DTC may be stored.
