DESCRIPTION

When the driving support ECU is replaced with a new one, it acquires the country specification information from the combination meter. When the country specification information in the ECU and meter do not match, DTC C1A02 is output.

  • When replacing the driving support ECU, always replace it with a new one and be sure to perform initialization Click here. If an ECU which was installed to another vehicle is used, the information stored in the ECU will not match the information from the vehicle, and as a result, a DTC may be stored.

  • If the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) is replaced, refer to the Service Bulletin.

      Tech Tips

      The country specification information stored in the driving support ECU is determined by the country specification information stored in the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU). If the country specification information for the millimeter wave radar sensor matches the vehicle, the country specification information for the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) and driving support ECU is incorrect and the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) and driving support ECU need to be replaced.
