  1. READ VALUE USING GTS (HAZARD WARNING SIGNAL SWITCH)


    1. Using the GTS, read the Data List Click here.

  2. INSPECT MULTI-MEDIA MODULE RECEIVER ASSEMBLY (HAZARD WARNING SIGNAL SWITCH)


    1. Remove the multi-media module receiver (hazard warning signal switch) Click here.

    2. Inspect the multi-media module receiver (hazard warning signal switch) Click here.

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTI-MEDIA MODULE RECEIVER [HAZARD WARNING SIGNAL SWITCH] - COMBINATION METER)


    1. Disconnect the N69 multi-media module receiver (hazard warning signal switch) connector.

    2. Disconnect the N39 combination meter connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      N69-10 (LJB) - N39-5 (HAZM) Always Below 1 Ω
      N69-9 (HAZ) - N39-11 (HZSW) Always Below 1 Ω
      N69-10 (LJB) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      N69-9 (HAZ) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
