DESCRIPTION

These DTCs are stored when the headlight swivel ECU detects errors in its own communication with the headlight swivel motor.

      Disconnect the headlight swivel ECU connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      A7-14 (IGS) - Body ground Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      A7-15 (IG) - Body ground

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      A7-22 (E1) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

    OK

  4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HEADLIGHT SWIVEL ECU - HEADLIGHT UNIT)


    1. Disconnect the A7 headlight swivel ECU connector.

    2. Disconnect the B5*1 or B2*2 headlight unit connector.


      • *1: for LH

      • *2: for RH

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      A7-29 (SML) - B5-1 (SML) Always Below 1 Ω

      A7-29 (SML) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    3. Disconnect the headlight swivel motor connector.

    4. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
