DESCRIPTION

DTC B2222 is output in the following situations: 1) When the pulse sensor of the luggage closer motor assembly has a malfunction and a normal waveform is not input into the pulse sensor during the power trunk lid operation, or 2) When there is a malfunction in the power trunk opener and closer activation power supply.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

Note


  • Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.

  • When using the GTS with the engine switch off to troubleshoot:

    Connect the GTS to the DLC3 and turn a courtesy light switch on and off at 1.5-seconds intervals until communication between the GTS and vehicle begins.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
