REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY REASSEMBLY

  1. INSTALL BENCH TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER


    1. Using hog ring pliers, install the bench type rear seatback cover to the bench type rear seatback pad with new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the cover.

      • When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.

    2. w/ Rear Seat Side Airbag:


      1. A01FENF

        Pass the brackets of the bench type rear seatback cover through the holes in the bench type rear seatback pad.

        Note


        • After the bench type rear seatback cover is installed, make sure the bench type rear seatback cover bracket is not twisted.

      2. Install the rear seat airbag assembly LH Click here.

      3. Install the rear seat airbag assembly RH.

        Tech Tips

        Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

    3. A01FEWH

      w/ Seat Heater System:

      Pass the rear seatback heater wire harnesses through the holes in the bench type rear seatback cover.

    4. Pass the bench type rear seatback pad through the holes in the bench type rear seatback cover.

    5. Pass the bench type rear seatback cover through the holes in the bench type rear seatback pad and install the bench type rear seatback cover.

    6. Using hog ring pliers, install the bench type rear seatback cover to the bench type rear seatback pad with new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the cover.

      • When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.

  2. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT


    1. Attach the 12 claws to install the 6 rear seat headrest supports.

      Using hog ring pliers, install the bench type rear seatback cover to the bench type rear seatback pad with new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the cover.

      • When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.

  3. INSTALL REAR SEAT CENTER SHOULDER BELT GUIDE


    1. Install the rear seat center shoulder belt guide with the 2 screws.

  4. INSTALL REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT GUIDE RH


    1. Install the rear seat shoulder belt guide RH with the 3 screws.

  5. INSTALL REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT GUIDE LH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the RH side.

  6. INSTALL REAR SEAT WIRE RH (for Luxury Seat Type)

      w/o Seat Heater System:

      Attach the claw and 2 clamps to install the rear seat wire RH.

    2. A01FENP

      w/ Seat Heater System:


      1. Attach the claw and 3 clamps to install the rear seat wire RH.

      2. Pass the rear seat wire RH under the rubber bands of the bench type rear seatback cover.

      3. Connect the 2 rear seatback heater connectors.

  7. INSTALL SEAT HEATER CONTROL SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Seat Heater System)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for the other seat heater control sub-assembly.


    1. Attach the claw to connect the rear seatback heater connector.

    2. Attach the claw to install the seat heater control sub-assembly.

  8. INSTALL REAR SEAT CENTER ARMREST BOX (for Luxury Seat Type)


    1. Install the rear seat center armrest box to the rear seat center armrest pad.

    2. Attach the 30 hooks to install the rear seat center armrest cover sub-assembly.

  9. INSTALL REAR SEAT CENTER ARMREST CUP HOLDER SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the rear seat center armrest cup holder sub-assembly with the 2 screws.

  10. INSTALL REAR CONSOLE BOX WIRE (for Luxury Seat Type)


    1. A01FDMC

      Attach the 3 clamps to install the rear console box wire.

  11. INSTALL REAR CONTROL SWITCH (for Luxury Seat Type)


    1. Attach the 4 claws to install the rear control switch.

  12. INSTALL REAR SEAT CENTER ARMREST BOX ASSEMBLY


    1. Attach the 4 claws to install the rear seat center armrest box assembly.

  13. INSTALL REAR SEAT CENTER ARMREST PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. for Luxury Seat Type:

      Connect the rear console box wire connector.

    2. Attach the 3 guides and 6 claws.

    3. Install the rear seat center armrest panel sub-assembly with the screw.

  14. INSTALL ARMREST CONSOLE HINGE SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the armrest console hinge sub-assembly with the 2 screws.

  15. INSTALL CENTER ARMREST LOCK SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the center armrest lock sub-assembly with the 4 screws.

  16. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 SEAT CENTER ARMREST PLATE


    1. Install the rear No. 1 seat center armrest plate with the 4 screws.

  17. INSTALL REAR SEAT CENTER ARMREST DOOR SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Attach the claw to install the rear seat center armrest door sub-assembly with the 2 screws.

  18. INSTALL REAR SEAT CENTER ARMREST DOOR LOCK CYLINDER ASSEMBLY

      Set the rear seat center armrest door lock cylinder assembly in the unlocked position, insert the cylinder into the rear seat center armrest door sub-assembly, and then attach the claw.

      Install the rear No. 1 seat center armrest spring to the rear seat armrest handle.

    3. A01FEMP

      Slide the rear seat armrest handle in the direction shown in the illustration to attach the 2 claws and install the rear seat armrest handle.

  19. INSTALL CUSHION


    1. Install the 2 cushions to the rear seat armrest hole board sub-assembly.

  20. INSTALL REAR SEAT HOOK (for Luxury Seat Type)


    1. Install the rear seat hook with the screw.

  21. INSTALL REAR SEAT CENTER ARMREST BOX BEZEL


    1. Attach the 8 claws to install the rear seat center armrest box bezel.

  22. INSTALL REAR SEAT ARMREST HOLE BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the 2 clips.

    2. Attach the 2 hooks to install the rear seat armrest hole board sub-assembly.

      for Luxury Seat Type:

      Attach the clamp of the rear console box wire.

  23. INSTALL REAR SEAT CENTER ARMREST HINGE


    1. Install the rear seat center armrest hinge and 2 bushes with the 2 screws.

  24. INSTALL REAR SEAT CENTER ARMREST ASSEMBLY

      for Luxury Seat Type:

      Position the rear console box wire as shown in the illustration.

    2. A01FJ05

      Move the rear seat center armrest assembly in the direction of the arrow to attach the 2 hooks.

    3. Install the rear seat center armrest assembly with the 2 nuts.

      Using hog ring pliers, install new hog rings.

    5. for Luxury Seat Type:

        w/o Seat Heater System:

        Connect the connector and attach the clamp of the rear console box wire.

      2. A01FIEV

        w/ Seat Heater System:

        Connect the connector, attach the clamp of the rear console box wire and attach the 3 clamps of the rear seat wire RH.

  25. INSTALL BENCH TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER


    1. Using hog ring pliers, install the bench type rear seat cushion cover to the rear seat cushion pad with new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the cover.

      • When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.

      w/ Seat Heater System:

      Pass the rear seat cushion heater wire harnesses through the holes in the bench type rear seat cushion cover.

      Pass the rear seat cushion pad through the holes in the bench type rear seat cushion cover and install the bench type rear seat cushion cover.

    4. Pass the bench type rear seat cushion cover through the holes in the rear seat cushion pad.

    5. Using hog ring pliers, install the bench type rear seat cushion cover to the rear seat cushion pad with new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the cover.

      • When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.
