DESCRIPTION

The refreshing seat switch communicates with the air conditioning amplifier assembly through LIN communication system.

If the LIN communication system malfunctions, the air conditioning amplifier assembly does not operate even if the refreshing seat switch is operated.

      Disconnect the refreshing seat switch connector.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      N72-1 (IG) - N72-4 (E) Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      N72-1 (IG) - N72-4 (E) Engine switch off Below 1 V
      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      N72-4 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

    OK

  4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY - REFRESHING SEAT SWITCH)


    1. Disconnect the N79 air conditioning amplifier assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the N72 refreshing seat switch connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      N79-20 (LIN1) - N72-7 (SW) Always Below 1 Ω
      N79-20 (LIN1) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

  5. REPLACE REFRESHING SEAT SWITCH


    1. Temporarily replace the refreshing seat switch with a new or normally functioning one Click here.
