AIRBAG CUT-OFF SWITCH INSTALLATION

Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedure for the front passenger side of RHD and LHD vehicles.

  • The procedures listed below are for the front passenger side of an LHD vehicle.


  1. INSTALL AIRBAG CUT OFF SWITCH CYLINDER SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Attach the 2 claws to install the airbag cut off switch cylinder sub-assembly.

  2. INSTALL INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL RH


    1. w/ Airbag Cut Off Switch:


      1. Connect the connector.

    2. Attach the 7 clips to install the instrument side panel RH.

  3. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  4. PERFORM DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK
