DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when an open or ground short is detected continuously for 1 second in the passenger side buckle switch circuit.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU


    1. Using an oscilloscope, check the waveform of the seat belt control ECU between the connector terminals.

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY - SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU)


    1. Disconnect the U35 seat belt control ECU connector.

    2. Disconnect the T3*1 front seat inner belt assembly RH*1 or U5 front seat inner belt assembly LH*2


      • *1: for LHD

      • *2: for RHD

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
