B2074 Driver Side Seat Belt Buckle Switch Circuit Malfunction

DESCRIPTION

The seat belt control ECU receives buckle switch condition information through a direct line and controls the pre-crash system.

This code is output when a buckle switch malfunction signal is received from the airbag system.

When DTC B2074 is detected, DTC B1655 is also output.

DTC Code DTC Detection Condition Trouble Area
B2074 Open or short to ground in the front seat inner belt assembly LH (buckle switch) circuit continues for 1 second or more.

Note

If DTC B1655 is not cleared first, DTC B2074 continues to be output.
