INSPECTION PROCEDURE

Note


  • Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.

  • Recognition code registration is necessary when replacing the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU).

  • If the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) is replaced, refer to the Service Bulletin.

PROCEDURE


  1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING GTS (DOME CUT RELAY)


    1. Using the GTS, perform the Active Test Click here.

      Confirm the operation when the interior lights are illuminated.

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (COWL SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK LH - MAIN BODY ECU AND BATTERY)


    1. Disconnect the 5D and 5B cowl side junction block LH connectors.

    2. Disconnect the N11 main body ECU connector.

    3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      5D-2 - Body ground Always 11 to 14 V
    4. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      5B-16 - N11-2 (DOMR) Always Below 1 Ω
      5B-16 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

  3. INSPECT COWL SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK LH

      Remove the cowl side junction block LH Click here.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
