SLIDING ROOF SYSTEM TERMINALS OF ECU


  1. CHECK SLIDING ROOF DRIVE GEAR SUB-ASSEMBLY (SLIDING ROOF ECU)


    1. A01FIIXE01

      Disconnect the Y4 sliding roof drive gear sub-assembly (sliding roof ECU) connector.

    2. Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Tech Tips

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      Y4-8 (B) - Y4-12 (E) L - W-B +B Power supply Always 11 to 14 V
      Y4-1 (IG) - Y4-12 (E) P - W-B IG power supply Engine switch off Below 1 V
      Y4-1 (IG) - Y4-12 (E) P - W-B IG power supply Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      Y4-12 (E) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

    3. Reconnect the Y4 sliding roof drive gear sub-assembly (sliding roof ECU) connector.

    4. Measure the voltage and waveform according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Y4-5 (CLS) - Y4-12 (E) SB - W-B Sliding roof motor close Engine switch on (IG), SLIDE CLOSE switch on Below 1 V
      Y4-5 (CLS) - Y4-12 (E) SB - W-B Sliding roof motor close Engine switch on (IG), SLIDE CLOSE switch off 11 to 14 V
      Y4-4 (UP) - Y4-12 (E) G - W-B Sliding roof motor up Engine switch on (IG), TILT UP switch on Below 1 V
      Y4-4 (UP) - Y4-12 (E) G - W-B Sliding roof motor up Engine switch on (IG), TILT UP switch off 11 to 14 V
      Y4-6 (DWN) - Y4-12 (E) B - W-B Sliding roof motor down Engine switch on (IG), TILT DOWN switch on Below 1 V
      Y4-6 (DWN) - Y4-12 (E) B - W-B Sliding roof motor down Engine switch on (IG), TILT DOWN switch off 11 to 14 V
