BLIND SPOT MONITOR SYSTEM Main Switch Circuit

DESCRIPTION

When the blind spot monitor main switch (integration control and panel assembly) is turned on, a signal is sent to the blind spot monitor sensor RH. The blind spot monitor system operates according to this signal.

Note

Inspect the fuse for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.

PROCEDURE


  1. READ VALUE USING GTS (BLIND SPOT MONITOR MAIN SWITCH)


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Blind Spot Monitor Master / Data List.

    5. According to the display on the GTS, read the Data List.

      Disconnect the blind spot monitor main switch (integration control and panel assembly) connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage

  4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (BLIND SPOT MONITOR SENSOR RH - BLIND SPOT MONITOR MAIN SWITCH)


    1. Disconnect the T39 blind spot monitor sensor RH connector.

    2. Disconnect the N6 blind spot monitor main switch (integration control and panel assembly) connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      T39-3 (BSSW) - N6-16 (B) Always Below 1 Ω
      T39-3 (BSSW) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
