DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when the blind spot monitor sensor RH judges that there is a communication problem with the blind spot monitor sensor LH.

U0232 The blind spot monitor sensor RH cannot receive signals from the blind spot monitor sensor LH.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

Note

When checking for DTCs, make sure that the blind spot monitor main switch (integration control and panel assembly) is on.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM


    1. Check for CAN communication system DTCs.


      Result
      Result Proceed to
      CAN communication system DTCs are not output. A
      CAN communication system (for LHD) DTCs are output. B
      CAN communication system (for RHD) DTCs are output. C

  2. REPLACE BLIND SPOT MONITOR SENSOR LH


    1. Replace the blind spot monitor sensor LH Click here.

  3. RECHECK DTC


    1. Clear the DTCs Click here.

    2. Recheck for DTCs and check if the same DTC is output again.

      OK
      No DTCs are output.
