INSPECTION PROCEDURE

When replacing the multi-media module receiver assembly or the telematics transceiver, perform the vehicle contract setting Click here.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTI-MEDIA MODULE RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER)


    1. Disconnect the N145 multi-media module receiver assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the N146 telematics transceiver connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      N145-7 (VOR+) - N146-3 (VOT+) Always Below 1 Ω
      N145-6 (VOR-) - N146-5 (VOT-) Always Below 1 Ω
      N145-7 (VOR+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      N145-6 (VOR-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    NG

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

    OK

  2. CHECK TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER

      Standard
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      N146-3 (VOT+) - Body ground Receiving a call while using the operator service A waveform synchronized with the received voice is output.
      N146-5 (VOT-) - Body ground Receiving a call while using the operator service A waveform synchronized with the received voice is output.
