DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when items controlled by the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) cannot be customized via the audio and visual system vehicle customization screen.

Tech Tips

The main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) controls the items for the following systems that are customizable via the accessory meter assembly*1 or multi-display*2 screen:


  • *1: for 12.3 Inch

  • *2: for 8 Inch


  • Power door lock control system

  • Wireless door lock control system

  • Lighting system (for INT)

  • Lighting system (for EXT)

  1. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM


    1. Use the GTS to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally.


      OK
      CAN communication DTCs are not output.

  6. CHECK CUSTOMIZE ITEMS

    1. Display the "Vehicle Customization" screen.

    2. Make a note of the customizable items for each main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) related system.

      Tech Tips

      These items shown as customizable via the accessory meter assembly*1 or multi-display*2 vehicle customization screen can also be changed using the GTS. In a following step, the GTS will be used.


      1. To match-up the items in the accessory meter assembly*1 or multi-display*2 with the items on the GTS, check the customize parameters list for the power door lock control system related items that can be customized via the accessory meter assembly*1 or multi-display*2 screen Click here.

      2. To match-up the items in the accessory meter assembly*1 or multi-display*2 with the items on the GTS, check the customize parameters list for the wireless door lock control system related items that can be customized via the accessory meter assembly*1 or multi-display*2 screen Click here.

      3. To match-up the items in the accessory meter assembly*1 or multi-display*2 with the items on the GTS, check the customize parameters list for the lighting system (for INT) related items that can be customized via the accessory meter assembly*1 or multi-display*2 screen Click here.

      4. To match-up the items in the accessory meter assembly*1 or multi-display*2 with the items on the GTS, check the customize parameters list for the lighting system (for EXT) related items that can be customized via the accessory meter assembly*1 or multi-display*2 screen Click here.

    3. Using the GTS, confirm that it is possible to change the settings of the customize parameters that are available for customization via the accessory meter assembly*1 or multi-display*2 screen.
