INSPECT TOTAL PRELOAD
Temporarily install the left and right steering rack ends to prevent steering rack overstroke.
Using SST and a torque wrench, inspect the preload.

| 0.9 to 1.8 N*m (10 to 18 kgf*cm, 8 to 15 in.*lbf) |
If the turning torque is not as specified, replace the power steering link assembly.
INSPECT POWER STEERING LINK ASSEMBLY
Disconnect the power steering motor connector.

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Disconnect the torque sensor connector.
