DESCRIPTION

If the VGRS ECU (front steering control ECU) detects an internal malfunction, it turns the master warning light on, stores DTC C15B4/71 and stops VGRS operation.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

Note


  • When replacing the VGRS ECU (front steering control ECU), perform actuator angle neutral position calibration and initialization after replacement Click here.

  • Since DTC C1B09/19 is stored in the DRS ECU (rear steering control ECU), after performing repairs on the VGRS system, clear the DTCs for the dynamic rear steering system.

  • When DTC C15B4/71 is output, confirm the following:


    1. Whether there was any trouble starting the engine during the trip before DTC C15B4/71 was stored.

    2. Whether the master warning light illuminated while the vehicle was being driven or immediately after the engine was started.
