REAR BRAKE FLEXIBLE HOSE REMOVAL

Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The following procedure is for the LH side.


  1. REMOVE REAR WHEEL

  2. DRAIN BRAKE FLUID

    Note

    Wash off the brake fluid immediately if it comes in contact with a painted surface.

  3. REMOVE REAR FLEXIBLE HOSE LH


    1. A01FIPL

      Remove the union bolt and gasket and disconnect the rear flexible hose from the rear disc brake cylinder assembly.

    2. A01FDX1

      Using a union nut wrench, disconnect the brake line while holding the rear flexible hose with a wrench.

    3. Remove the clip and rear flexible hose.

      Note


      • Do not kink or damage the brake line.

      • Do not allow any foreign matter such as dirt or dust to enter the brake line.
