ROOM PARTITION PANEL INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL ROOM PARTITION PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Set the room partition panel sub-assembly in place and temporarily install the 6 bolts and 2 new nuts.

      CAUTION:

      Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the parts may injure your hands.

    2. Tighten the 6 bolts and 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      Bolt
      45 N*m  { 459 kgf*cm, 33 ft.*lbf }
      Torque:
      Nut
      60 N*m  { 612 kgf*cm, 44 ft.*lbf }
    3. A01FDER

      Return the No. 1 room partition pad to its original position.

  2. INSTALL BENCH TYPE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY


    1. A01FFMO

      Attach the 2 hooks on the backside of the bench type rear seatback assembly.

      Note


      • 2 or more people are required when inserting the bench type rear seatback assembly into the vehicle.

      • Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

      Tech Tips

      Be sure to reinstall the front luggage compartment trim cover if it was removed Click here.

    2. Install the bench type rear seatback assembly with the 4 bolts.

      Torque:
      20 N*m  { 204 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf }

    3. Connect the rear seat wire RH connector.

    4. Connect the 2 rear seat airbag connectors.

      Note

      When connecting any airbag connector, take care not to damage the airbag wire harness.


      1. Before connecting the connector, check that the position of the white housing lock is correct as shown in the illustration.

      2. Be sure to engage the connectors until they are locked (when locking, make sure that a click sound can be heard).

        Tech Tips

        When engaged, the white housing lock will slide. Be sure not to hold the white housing lock and part (A), as it may result in an insecure fit.

      3. Check that the CPA and the rear edge of the housing are aligned.

      Connect the rear seat 3 point type outer belt assembly to the shoulder belt guide.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure to connect the other side of the rear seat 3 point type outer belt assembly.

    6. Attach the 2 claws to close the 2 caps of the rear seat shoulder belt guide.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure to close the 2 caps on the other side.

    7. A01FGSL

      Connect the rear seat inner with center belt assembly LH to the rear center seat shoulder belt guide.

    8. Attach the claw to close the cap of the rear center seat shoulder belt guide.

      Connect the anchor part of the rear seat 3 point type outer belt assembly LH with the bolts.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

    10. Connect the anchor part of the rear seat 3 point type outer belt assembly RH with the bolts.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

      Note

      Install the rear seat 3 point type outer belt assembly LH and rear seat 3 point type outer belt assembly RH so that the angle of the floor anchor is within the standard range.

    11. Connect the anchor part of the rear seat inner with center belt assembly LH with the bolt.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

      Note


      • Make sure that the arrow on the rear seat inner with center belt assembly LH floor anchor is facing towards the front of the vehicle.

      • Do not allow the anchor part of the rear seat inner with center belt assembly LH to overlap the protruding parts.

    12. Connect the rear seat inner with center belt assembly LH connector.

  3. INSTALL REAR SEAT CENTER HEADREST ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the rear seat center headrest assembly.

  4. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the 2 rear seat headrest assemblies.

  5. INSTALL BENCH TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY


    1. Place the bench type rear seat cushion assembly in the cabin.

    2. w/ Seat Heater System:

      Connect the 2 rear seat cushion heater connectors.

    3. Attach the 2 rear hooks of the bench type rear seat cushion assembly to the beach type rear seatback assembly.

    4. Attach the 2 front hooks to install the bench type rear seat cushion assembly.

      Note

      When installing the seat cushion, make sure the seat belt buckle is not under the seat cushion.

  6. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL (w/ Rear Seat Side Airbag)

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  7. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT (w/ Rear Seat Side Airbag)

  8. INSPECT REAR SEAT HEATER SYSTEM (w/ Seat Heater System)
